International Women's Day

with Maker's Mark

To kick off our 2020 Dinners for Good Series, we are creating a unique foodie experience by hosting a multiple booth Makers Event on International Women’s Day featuring some of the top local chefs, bakers, and bartenders in San Diego. This event will take place on a small plot urban farm on the historic W.D. Dickinson homestead located in San Diego South Bay. At the farm, they organically grow heirloom fruit, vegetables & herbs. With seeds, as old as year 700 and nothing younger that WWII.

Date: March 8, 2020

Time: 12pm-3pm

Location: W.D. Dickinson Farm | 1430 E 24th St National City, CA 91950

Tickets: $80

Proceeds will support Kitchens for Good, a non-profit organization that tackles issues of food waste, poverty and hunger. By taking food that would otherwise go to waste, Kitchens for Good uses surplus food and creates nutritious meals through a culinary apprenticeship program for those formerly incarcerated or aging out of the foster care system.
